Responsibilities

Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns. Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards during handling. Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance the customer experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area as well as dining spaces. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling and reporting. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Support bussing duties as needed to maintain a clean dining environment. Adhere to sanitation guidelines and maintain compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in cashiering or customer service roles is preferred, particularly in quick service or fast food restaurants. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus, enhancing understanding of menu items and preparation methods. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Basic math skills are required for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. A proactive approach to upselling and promoting products is highly valued. Experience in the food industry or cafe setting is advantageous.
