What you'll do

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with precision and flair. Engage with customers to provide outstanding service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and cheerfully. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, adhering to food safety standards and regulations. Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to keep operations running smoothly. Assist in training new baristas on beverage preparation techniques and customer service excellence. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance their overall experience. Uphold high standards of food preparation and serving practices in line with food industry regulations.

Experience

Previous barista experience is highly desirable, showcasing your passion for coffee culture. Proficiency in using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that creates a welcoming environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling regulations in the cafe setting is essential. Experience in sales or food service will be an advantage as you engage customers in our offerings.
