We are seeking passionate and dedicated Baristas, Cashiers, and Deli Clerks to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in customer service and food preparation, with a flair for creating exceptional coffee and beverage experiences. At Bottega, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality drinks, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. You'll be the face of the store, handling customer transactions and answering questions about products. This role combines excellent customer service with basic cash-handling and light merchandising duties. Ideal candidates are trustworthy, organized, and enjoy working with food-loving customers in a community-oriented setting.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces. Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with cashiering processes and cash handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. A passion for coffee and beverages is highly desirable.
