Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in providing exceptional coffee and customer service in a vibrant QSR environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that every customer has an enjoyable experience. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer interaction will play a vital role in our cafe's success.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS systems for order processing and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery. Uphold food safety standards in all aspects of food handling and preparation. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.

Experience

Previous barista experience is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train motivated individuals with a passion for coffee. Experience in the food industry or retail environment is beneficial. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively. Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling procedures is a plus. Knowledge of retail math concepts can enhance operational efficiency within the cafe setting. Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
