Patisserie Fleur is a French and Asian inspired pasty shop located in Markham that specializes in cakes, desserts and specialty drinks. We are searching for an experienced Cashier/Barista to join our team at our Downtown Markham location next to the Cineplex VIP movie theater. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, is passionate about the food and beverage industry and enjoys working with people. This position plays a key role in our energetic team of pastry and beverage enthusiasts who are driven to provide excellent customer service. You'll have the opportunity to be part of a fun atmosphere where both customers and employees have a great experience that's welcoming and engaging.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

Provide courteous and prompt customer service Passionate about product quality and customer service Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks such as teas, iced drinks, specialty coffees like espressos, cappuccino, cafe latte including art latte technique Prepare toppings & syrup Cash handling Strictly follow health regulations, keep a clean and sanitized working environment (floor, working table, stock room, machinery) Be able to stand for 8 hours shift and can work variable hours including mornings, evenings, nights of weekdays, weekends and/or Statutory holidays Following the cleaning schedule for equipment Be able to work independently as well as team member, and contribute to a positive working environment A proficient skill to communicate effectively in English
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
