432 Pharmacy: Part-Time Cashier

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, exceptional and reliable Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers through effective communication and technical sales skills.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases. Accurately process transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring cash handling is precise. Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandising display to attract customers. Process prescription transactions (receiving payment and prescription pick-ups) Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly, showcasing strong customer service skills. Collaborate with team members and management to maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Ensure cleanliness of the store and workspace.

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with customers effectively. Familiarity with technology sales and technical sales concepts is advantageous for product demonstrations. Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain an efficient workspace.

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 2:00-5:00 pm
