Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a keen ability to handle transactions accurately. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responsible for providing excellent service while managing sales transactions and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Duties

Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the POS system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and care. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and resolving issues. Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate cash handling and register balancing. Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions. Collaborate with team members to achieve store merchandising goals and maintain inventory levels. Exhibit strong communication skills while engaging with customers in both English and other languages as needed (bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with technology sales or technical sales is a plus, especially for candidates interested in selling electronic products. Strong organizational skills and time management abilities are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required for interacting with customers effectively. A background in merchandising is beneficial for maintaining an appealing shopping environment.
