Job Description

Van-Whole Produce is currently hiring a Cashier to join their team. We are seeking a highly motivated, organized individual with a dedication to accuracy and strong ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks to be a part of our team. This is an entry level position with an opportunity to grow.

Shifts: Morning Shifts 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday



Responsibilities:



Complete transactions accurately to expedite the clients' transaction Help salespersons provide excellent customer service Follow all cash handling procedures Prepare & distribute packing slip & invoices Prepare documentation for shipping & accounting Process goods receipts into the system Must have strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced & high demand environment Collect payment(cash & cheque) from drivers

Skill Requirements:



Good communication skills Willing to learn Previous Front End or Customer service experience is preferred but not necessary Understanding the importance of accuracy Knowledge of Microsoft office Keyboarding skill with a minimum of 6000 per hour Keypad numeric data entry required Ability to multi-task, take direction & perform tasks with specified time frames Team player Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Required Education:



High school Diploma or equivalent

Hours of work:



4 weekdays and Saturday. The schedule is from 6 am to 2:30 pm



Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
