We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires strong time management skills, basic math proficiency, and the ability to engage with customers in a positive manner. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register or point-of-sale system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area. Provide information about products and promotions to enhance sales opportunities. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels when necessary. Uphold company policies regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds.

Requirements

Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace. Multilingual or bilingual abilities (especially in English) are a plus to better serve diverse customers. Previous cashiering or sales experience is preferred but not required. A friendly demeanor with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
