Job Description

Individuals must demonstrate dedication to exceptional Customer Service and build strong relationships with existing and prospective customers by creating a welcoming environment with a memorable and rewarding customer experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

Process sales transactions, in person, by phone/text Process web orders and assist customers with online chat inquiries Maintain accurate customer records and accounts Create and process orders and prepare deliveries, ensure complete details are captured for customer deliveries Work closely with the delivery team to ensure completion of scheduled deliveries Create a positive and rewarding customer experience Greet all customers with courtesy and respect Answer inquiries about products and services Assist contractor accounts with project quoting Ensure stock inventory available for contractor/customer pickups Monitor and maintain stock levels for products in retail space Maintain a clean and safe work environment Participate and comply with Rocklands Health and Safety program Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Cashier Requirements:

High School diploma 2 years of administrative experience and/or retail sales experience Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask Pleasant phone etiquette Ability to work independently

Preferred Skills and Assets

Landscape product knowledge considered an asset Disciplines work ethic and positive attitude Basic to moderate math skill an asset

Tickets and Training

WHMIS certification
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 3-6 months

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
