Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions accurately. Your role is crucial in ensuring a positive shopping experience and maintaining the flow of operations at the register.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and care. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area to enhance customer experience. Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities. Manage customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the transaction process. Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately in accordance with company policies. Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves as needed during downtime. Preparing and serving food and food items. Cleaning of facility throughout shift.

Skills

Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy workspace and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Previous cashiering experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Sales skills, including upselling techniques, to promote additional products effectively. Familiarity with POS systems to streamline transaction processes. Excellent cash handling skills to ensure accuracy in financial transactions. Time management skills to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
