A successful Cashier will be responsible for marking all items in the cash register, maintaining a clean register and keeping the surrounding area tidy. The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, trustworthy and have excellent customer service skills. This is a position that works well with individuals who are excellent with money and want to help people find the right items at the right prices. Responsibilities:
- Count money.
- Handle cash and checks.
- Perform accurate record keeping.
- Keep the store safe and secure.
- Knowledge of security systems, fire-safety equipment, and emergency procedures.
- Operate point-of-sale systems.
- Answer customers\' questions regarding products or services.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics, spelling, reading, and grammar.
- On-site parking
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
