Job Overview
As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at the checkout counter.
Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with precision
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services
- Utilize phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries
- Promote technology sales and services when applicable
Experience
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred
- Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate cash handling
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.20 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
Work Location: In person
