At H&W Produce corp., we take pride in providing our customers with fresh, high-quality products and outstanding customer service. We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic part-time cashier to join our team and contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of our grocery store.

Position Overview:

As a part-time cashier, you will be the face of our store, ensuring a positive and friendly shopping experience for every customer. You'll be responsible for processing transactions, answering customer inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and offering product recommendations when needed. Bag groceries and ensure that items are properly handled. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking bags and supplies. Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions securely. Follow all store policies and safety procedures.

Requirements:

Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus, but not required. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Must be reliable and punctual. Positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team.

ENGLISH:

Must be

proficient

in the English language.

Must be able to count Canadian currency without issue.

Reliable form of transportation/bus. We prefer to hire those who live close to our location.

Schedule:

Saturdays - 12:00pm - 8:30 pm Sundays - 10:30am - 7:00 pm 2 shifts during the weekdays 12:00pm-8:30pm
