Lakeside Spirit is looking for a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our dynamic team. As a Cashier, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth transactions, and supporting store operations. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment and interacting with customers, this position is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them with their purchases in a friendly and professional manner.

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
Provide product information, answer customer questions, and resolve any concerns or issues.
Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Assist in stocking and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor as needed.
Monitor and report discrepancies in cash drawers or register transactions.
Maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring that customers leave with a positive experience.
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.

• Follow all store policies, including safety and security guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management, including assisting with store opening and closing tasks.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and assist customers effectively.
• Excellent math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing the register.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow store policies and procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
