Position Overview:

Do you have a passion for customer service? Are you ready to join a team that values both people and plants? We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented individual to join us as a Cashier. You'll play a key role in providing excellent service and creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Position Details:

Type: Seasonal, Full-Time, Part-Time Schedule: Days, Evenings, and Weekends Hours of Operations: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM shift lengths vary between 4 and 8 hours. Location: Shelmerdine Garden Centre Ltd. (Must have own transportation--no bus service available)

What You'll Be Doing:

Operating the cash register and processing customer transactions Greeting customers and providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance Maintaining a clean and organized cashier station Handling customer inquiries and providing information about products and services Ensuring products are accurately scanned and packaged Assisting with stocking shelves and organizing store displays Supporting other departments as needed and working in a fast-paced environment

What We're Looking For:

Previous cashier or retail experience is considered an asset Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work quickly, accurately, and efficiently in a busy environment Physically fit and able to stand for long periods Ability to multitask and remain organized under pressure Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic demeanor * Knowledge of plants and gardening products is an asset
