Cashier
Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier at RBC. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients while performing a variety of cash and customer service duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process a variety of monetary transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and bill payments for clients
• Accurately count and balance cash, coin, and checks
• Respond to client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell our products and services to clients
• Follow all security and compliance procedures to safeguard bank assets
• Assist with daily opening and closing procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service or cash handling experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with banking products and services is an asset
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
• Comfortable standing for extended periods of time
