As a Cashier at Johnny\'s Gas Bar in Douglas or Island View, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all customers while performing accurate and efficient cash transactions. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling cash and card payments, and assisting customers with any questions or concerns they may have. Responsibilities:
- *Greet customers as they enter the Gas Gar, and provide them with prompt and courteous service *Accurately process all customer transactions, including cash, credit and debit cards, and gift cards *Maintain a clean and organized cash register area *Ensure that all customers are charged correctly for their purchases, and that they receive the correct change and receipts *Provide customers with information about Johnny\'s Gas Bar products and services, and assist them with any questions or concerns they may have *Be knowledgeable about Johnny\xe2\x80\x99s H2O Water and Ice products and services *Follow all Johnny\'s Gas Bars policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, and report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate supervisor *Complete other duties as assigned by management *Be familiar with other adjacent and local businesses
- *Prior experience in a customer service or cash handling role preferred *Strong communication and interpersonal skills *Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously *Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling *Basic math and computer skills *Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20kg *Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays *Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
