Cashier / Closer - Full Time (immediate)

1pm - 9 pm

We are an independent grocery store in Vic West, which for us, means endless possibilities to be creative, analytical, and innovative.

There's always something to do, and no job here involves being chained to a single spot. You will have some direction, but ideally you are a self starter and someone that, with time, can learn to identify routines and what needs to be done.

We aim to provide a workplace that's kind, fair, and a good long term fit. Major perks are 30% off all store merchandise, $1 in store credit for every hour worked, a fixed weekly schedule with 2 days off in a row (unless you specifically don't want that), and access to a "staff fridge" full of free food. All new staff start at $19 or more an hour depending on the position and experience.

Ideal candidates will have in depth knowledge and keen interests in food, ingredients and cuisines; Be both analytical/systematic and simultaneously visually creative; Like to identify and spearhead projects without in depth supervision; Not be afraid to get dirty and to tackle whatever comes our way.
