We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a keen attention to detail. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions, providing excellent service to customers, and maintaining an organized checkout area. Your ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems will be essential in ensuring a smooth transaction process.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases. Accurately process transactions using the POS system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area. Provide product demonstrations and technical sales support when necessary. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise. Uphold company policies regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds. Ensure that all items are scanned correctly and that prices are communicated clearly. Assist in restocking shelves and maintaining inventory as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in customer service or retail environment is preferred. Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone. Multilingual abilities are a plus, particularly in English and other languages. A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
