Berwick Home Hardware Building Centre

located in Berwick in the Annapolis Valley is looking for a cashier to join our team.

The ideal candidate should possess the following strengths;

Tasks pertinent to the Cashier position;

Greet customers as they enter the store Acknowledge customers as they leave the store Ensure customers have a pleasant shopping experience Participate in promotional activities Operate cash register Balance cash and totals Confer with customer that they obtained everything they needed Scan items for goods and services provided Process transactions involving money; credit cards/debit cards Suggestive selling Participate in stocking shelves on truck arrival days, continual front facing and pull down of product from overstock Work putting up price changes and flyer tags when required Keep counter, cart, and foyer area swept and clean Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate department Use price scanner, interact machine

While previous experience is not required it would be beneficial to the position.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
