Freebird Market is a one-of-a-kind culinary destination featuring in-house breads, pastries, pasta, soups, sauces, braised meats, and prepared meals -- all made from scratch in our bright 8,000 sq. ft. commissary kitchen.

We also offer a curated selection of globally inspired wines, beverages, and specialty grocery items. Our mission is simple: to make eating well and entertaining easy, inspiring, and delicious.

Your Role

As part of our cafe and market team, you'll play a key role in both customer service and food preparation.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing and serving salads, warming sandwiches on the grill, and baking pizzas in the oven Assisting customers with orders and providing friendly, knowledgeable service Preparing espresso and specialty coffee beverages Operating the POS system and processing transactions accurately Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming service area Restocking and merchandising display cases and shelves Supporting the team with general cafe and market duties as needed

What We're Looking For

Previous cafe, restaurant, or food service experience (required) Barista and sandwich-making experience (an asset) Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Open availability including weekends and select evenings Smart Serve certification or willingness to obtain (required for wine service) Interest in global cuisine and a passion for great food
