Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers by efficiently processing transactions and providing excellent service. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to provide informed assistance to customers. Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Assist with inventory management as needed, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise. Adhere to company policies regarding cash handling and security procedures.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
