Case Studies Research Assistant

Do you have a passion for curricular innovation? As a Research Assistant for the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy\'s (JSGS) Master\'s of Public Administration (MPA) program Signature Pedagogy project, you will work on developing case studies and academic articles that showcase the pedagogical practices in the MPA program.

Required Number of Hours: Up to 12 hours per week

Duration of Employment: ASAP to November 30, 2023

Duties

  • Write, edit, and proofread research reports, peer-reviewed articles, and other project deliverables for academic publishing.
  • Conduct literature reviews and assist in the analysis of research findings.
  • Collect and organize data from a variety of sources.
  • Attend project meetings and contribute to discussions regarding project progress and direction.
  • Work on the JSGS MPA Signature Pedagogy case study work, including developing case studies.
Qualifications

Education: Completion of a bachelor\'s degree in a social sciences or related discipline or a more advanced designation. Preference will be given to applicants currently registered in a graduate program at JSGS at the University of Saskatchewan.

Experience: Experience conducting literature reviews and preparing case studies is preferred.
