The "Eshkiniigjik Naandwechigegamig - A Place for Healing Our Youth" - "Aabiish Gaa Binjibaaying - Where Did We Come From?" is an Indigenous Youth Agency dedicated to providing programming and services to support Indigenous youth in North America. Our mission is to help them become responsible, participating citizens while leading their Indigenous communities.

Under the supervision of the Director of Thunder Bay, the Case Manager will perform the following

Job Responsibilities:



Work directly with youth who are ready to pursue abstinence and healthier living. Provide individualized, coordinated care that connects youth to local services and supports. Foster a safe, welcoming environment that encourages youth to engage in positive lifestyle changes. Ensuring a culturally safe, trauma-informed approach that is responsive to the diverse communities of our Indigenous youth. Ensure all youth accessing ENAGB register for the program. Complete Ontario Common Assessment of Needs for all youth registering for coordinated care. Entry of notes into our data-based system. Support proposal applications to future funders. Approach and develop collaborations with other service-providing agencies. Attend the monthly Youth Council Meetings (when required). Engaging directly with the youth and providing quality care. Interact with youth to encourage their involvement in activities. Work with the team to form a positive, supportive team atmosphere. Ensure confidentiality of privileged information. Adhere to the policies and procedures of the ENAGB Youth Program.

Qualifications



Bachelor in Social Work or Child & Youth Worker and/or relevant experience. Over two years of experience working with youth 12 - 29 yrs. Must have extensive knowledge of the history, and culture of Indigenous peoples. Fluency in an Indigenous language is an asset. Able to work evenings and weekends, when required. Adequate energy and ability to meet the physical demands of the job. A valid Standard First Aid and CPR. A cleared Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening. A positive, fun-loving attitude. The ability to work as a team and be self-motivated. Must possess a valid G License.

Salary: $35/hr Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Wednesday to Sunday from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Position Type: Contract Location: Thunder Bay, ON Contract Duration: August 1, 2025 - June 30th, 2025
