Key Responsibilities
Deliver services aligned with JF&CS programs, focusing on Holocaust assessments and client support
Act as the first point of contact for Holocaust Survivor Services (HSS); handle inquiries, screen for eligibility, and respond to urgent concerns
Support clients and families by sharing community resources and conducting safety screenings; provide front-line intervention when appropriate
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the case management system
Liaise with internal teams and community partners to support case management plans
Provide administrative support, including scheduling, document preparation, and case routing
Assist social workers and staff across the Holocaust team
Ensure documentation and records are completed and maintained in a timely manner
Support program operations through various administrative tasks as required
Perform other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring:
Post-secondary diploma or degree in Social Services or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in social services or community-based organizations
Experience supporting trauma survivors; expertise with Holocaust survivors is a strong asset
Fluency in spoken Russian is required; ability to read and write Russian is an asset
Knowledge of Jewish history, culture, and community needs is a strong asset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Russian
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with databases or case management systems
High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Trauma-informed, client-centered, and culturally sensitive approach
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
