Our growing and highly respected team is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Carrier Manager to join our head office in Burlington, Ontario.

We're looking for a Carrier Manager to manage our external carrier network and ensure our transportation operations continue to deliver reliable, cost-effective service across North America. In this role, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of carrier relationships--from onboarding and compliance to negotiations, performance management, and strategic network development.



What You'll Do

Build and maintain long-term relationships with carriers, acting as their primary point of contact. Lead onboarding for new carriers, including contracts, insurance verification, and system setup. Negotiate rates, service expectations, and capacity commitments to support daily, seasonal, and project-based freight. Monitor carrier performance, manage exceptions or claims, and implement continuous improvements. Track KPIs, prepare business reviews, and ensure carriers meet compliance standards. Collaborate closely with operations and leadership to secure reliable, cost-effective coverage.

What We're Looking For

2-5 years of experience in transportation, brokerage, freight forwarding, or logistics. Knowledge of North American freight markets, carrier operations, and transportation regulations. Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency with TMS, Truckmate, Salesforce, Load Link, DAT, or similar systems. Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
