Carpet Binding Technician
to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Carpet Binding Technician will be responsible for finishing carpet edges using industrial binding and serging machines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate carpet binding, serging, and fringing machines to finish carpet edges.
Cut and prepare carpet pieces to customer specifications.
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform routine maintenance on binding equipment.
Assist with other warehouse or flooring-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience with carpet binding or textile finishing preferred (training available for the right candidate).
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to lift and move heavy carpet rolls.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
