About Us

At Brian Rheeder Luxury Saunas, we believe in creating not just saunas but immersive retreats that harmonize with nature, offer tranquility, and provide a secluded haven from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Every project is totally unique, beginning from scratch with a custom render that blends our own design language with elements of the client's home. We build the entire sauna from the ground up with only the finest materials available, and do all the finishing work in-house so every detail is accounted for.

We are quickly becoming recognized as a serious player in this field across Western Canada. With growing interest from the East coast, as well as the Pacific Northwest of the US, it's high time we did some expanding. We need two labourers with some construction experience to join the team and grow alongside us.

Job Duties

The position will have two main areas of focus throughout the typical day, week, and project timeline. These are material prep., and general labour. Primarily the labourer will be working on pre-cutting and finishing of materials, assembly and installation of benches, backrests, windows, doors, and their frames. General labour involves helping the foreman with any work that requires a 2nd set of hands such as carrying and installing heavy/awkward items like doors, windows, their frames, and more. Additionally, keeping the workshop organized and tidy. When a sauna is being delivered and installed, this individual will be present at the client's property to assist with the installation as needed.

Qualifications:

Construction experience Woodworking/finish carpentry experience an asset (sanding, routering, staining, installation) Familiar with power tools (drills, powersaws, etc.) Reliable Serious attention to detail Willingness to develop skills and gain responsibility with time Licensed and able to commute by car to our workshop in Vernon
Our Work Environment

We have our own workshop on the mountainside near Silverstar in Vernon which offers plenty of space for our work. Our standards may be high and our timelines tight but we maintain a casual atmosphere when working. Good banter and music are a regular thing for us!
