ACE Community College is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Carpenter Instructor to teach and mentor students in the construction trades. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the construction field and hold a Red Seal certification in carpentry.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver practical and theoretical instruction in construction trades. Develop and implement lesson plans, assignments, and hands-on activities. Mentor and guide students to develop trade skills and safety practices. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback. Ensure compliance with safety standards in the classroom and workshop.
Requirements:
Red Seal certification in carpentry. Proven experience in the construction field. Previous teaching or training experience is an asset. Strong communication, mentoring, and organizational skills. Commitment to student success and safety in learning environments.
