Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years experience in various carpentry techniques and a strong understanding of construction principles.

Duties

Oversee and supervise carpentry projects, ensuring all work meets company standards and project specifications. Lead a team of carpenters, providing guidance, training, and support. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan and execute projects effectively. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures by all team members. Monitor project progress, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards. Coordinate with other departments and report project status to management regularly. Prepare detailed production and other relevant reports as required. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise workers and manage projects to ensure successful completion. Train or arrange training sessions for staff to enhance skills and performance. Estimate costs and materials accurately for effective budgeting and planning. Utilize blueprints and drawings to guide project execution and ensure accuracy.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Carpenter with supervisory experience, preferably in furniture manufacturing or construction. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Valid trade certification and a minimum of five ears of carpentry experience. Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments.
