Smith & Sons is a Design and Build company. We are a local, quality general contractor specializing in home renovation, carriage house and custom home projects. We work with clients from concept to completion.

Smith & Sons Coldstream is currently seeking a carpenter's helper and/or carpentry apprentice in the Vernon area.

The successful applicant will collaborate with the superintendent &/or the lead carpenter to help complete quality residential home renovation and building projects. The successful applicant will possess a passion for construction, take pride in your work and appearance, and want to be a part of a company that has a positive, productive, and progressive culture. A great work ethic and willingness to serve and learn are necessary personal characteristics you'll need to fit in and grow with Smith & Sons.

Initial and ongoing compensation will be negotiated based on experience, productivity, and attitude.

Duties and Responsibilities

Be reliable and show up to work on time! Possess a great work ethic and a willingness to learn. Have a basic understanding of blueprints, drawings, and sketches and understand project specifications. Comply with all company, building, and safety code policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

Live within close proximity to Vernon, BC. Minimum 1-year residential construction and/or renovation experience. Current driver's license and reliable transportation. Have your own general Personal Protection Equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
