Carpenter\xe2\x80\x99s Helper VSB Painting Co. is looking for a motivated individual to join our team to help out with of all types of exterior maintenance and renovations such as but not limited to. \xc2\xb7 wood siding, (removal and replacement of rotten and damaged siding) \xc2\xb7 Soffits facia corner boards window sills (removal and replacement of rotten and damaged trim) \xc2\xb7 removal and replacement of building hardware \xc2\xb7 building and fixing decks and stairs \xc2\xb7 install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware \xc2\xb7 Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials Successful applicants will have the following: - previous experience on construction sites, the ability to cut multiple accurate sizes of wood for the lead carpenters, have basic tools and harness, proper footwear and an excellent working knowledge on how to use power tools normally found on a job site. A reliable means to get to work -A cell phone \xe2\x80\x93 Be presentable, punctual, trustworthy, reliable, and hard working with a strong attention to detail \xc2\xb7 Be in good physical condition \xc2\xb7 able to lift heavy objects \xc2\xb7 work safely from ladders, scaffolding and lifts. Work is carried out at various locations from around the Annapolis Valley Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: From $18.00 per hour Schedule:

• Day shift
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• carpentry: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
