Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves working on diverse projects that require a combination of carpentry and general labor skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of construction, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, framing and more. This position offers opportunities to work on both residential and commercial sites, contributing to high-quality building and renovation projects.

Duties



Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to execute project plans accurately Perform concrete forming, rebar installation as required Install cabinets, flooring, tiles, siding, and roofing components with precision Operate hand tools, power tools and other construction equipment safely and effectively Conduct restoration work including surface preparation and finishing Caulking, painting, and general maintenance person tasks as needed Measure and cut materials accurately using appropriate tools for various projects Handle heavy lifting and material transportation around job sites while adhering to safety protocols Follow construction estimating guidelines to ensure project efficiency and quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each project phase

Qualifications



Proven experience in general construction labor roles is a plus Ability to learn how to read blueprints Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools and other relevant equipment Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinetry is highly desirable Experience with restoration projects or woodworking is a plus Familiarity with plumbing and electrical systems is advantageous Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards at all times Valid driver's license for site travel responsibilities Maintenance Person experience or construction estimating skills are beneficial but not mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
