Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter/Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves a combination of carpentry, general labor, and specialized tasks across various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, woodworking, and related trades, with the ability to interpret schematics and work with a variety of tools and materials. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse projects including restoration, new construction, and remodeling.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute project plans accurately Perform concrete forming, masonry work, and rebar installation as needed Install cabinets, flooring, tile, siding, roofing, and other building components Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC equipment, and other construction machinery safely and efficiently Conduct construction painting, caulking, and finishing work to meet quality standards Assist with plumbing and electrical tasks when required Handle heavy lifting and material movement across job sites Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment Contribute to demolition, restoration projects, or new builds as assigned Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each project

Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or general construction labor roles Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately Knowledge of concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding installation, and tile laying preferred Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and construction estimating is a plus Experience with rebar installation, framing, cabinetry installation, flooring installation, or plumbing/electrical work is desirable Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights Maintenance Person experience or background in manufacturing can be advantageous Valid safety certifications or willingness to obtain necessary training preferred Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions Reliable transportation to job sites is required

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

Pay: $17.50-$35.00 per hour
