Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a passion for construction and carpentry. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial builds, renovations, and restorations. The Carpenter/Laborer will be responsible for executing tasks with precision and attention to detail while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Perform carpentry tasks including framing, siding installation, and cabinet installation. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various construction activities. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to execute construction plans accurately. Assist in masonry work as needed, including bricklaying and concrete pouring. Apply caulking to seal joints and gaps in structures for insulation and weatherproofing. Engage in heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required on job sites. Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements

Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer in the construction industry is preferred. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to carpentry tasks. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Strong physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. Knowledge of masonry techniques is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements.
