Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various construction techniques and be comfortable working with a range of tools and materials. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project specifications. Perform concrete forming and rebar installation for various structures. Execute restoration projects, including cabinet installation and flooring installation. Carry out construction painting tasks with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for carpentry, woodworking, and assembly tasks. Engage in masonry work as needed, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic quality. Lay tiles accurately for both functional and decorative purposes. Conduct roofing tasks, including siding installation and caulking to ensure weatherproofing. Assist with plumbing and electrical tasks as required, demonstrating maintenance person experience. Participate in construction estimating processes to provide accurate project assessments. Handle heavy lifting as necessary while maintaining safety protocols on-site.

Qualifications

Proven experience in carpentry or related fields such as construction or manufacturing. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics. Familiarity with CNC machinery is a plus. Strong skills in masonry, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinet installation. Experience with power tools, hand tools, and heavy lifting techniques. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of quality. Previous experience in restoration projects is advantageous. Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems is preferred but not mandatory.
