Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction and carpentry, demonstrating proficiency with hand and power tools. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety on the job site. The Carpenter/Laborer will be involved in a variety of tasks including framing, trim work, and restoration projects, contributing to the successful completion of residential projects.

Responsibilities

Execute carpentry tasks including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Perform heavy lifting and physical labor as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or carpentry; restoration industry experience is a plus. Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to carpentry. Knowledge of additional skills such as roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, electrical work, caulking, plastering, rebar installation, fabrication, CNC operation, assembly, and construction painting is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
