We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joiner to join our construction and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, carpentry, and various construction techniques. This role involves working on diverse projects, including cabinetry, framing, restoration, and custom woodwork, utilizing both hand tools and power tools. The Joiner will play a vital part in delivering high-quality craftsmanship for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
Construct, install, and repair structures such as cabinets, framing, siding, roofing components, and custom woodwork.
Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and masonry work as needed.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
Assist with construction painting, caulking, electrical work, plumbing, and HVAC tasks when required.
Measure materials and cut with precision to ensure proper fit and finish.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining safety standards.
Participate in restoration projects by repairing or refurbishing existing structures.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or related construction fields.
Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating.
Hands-on experience with CNC machinery is a plus.
Knowledge of masonry, rebar installation, roofing, siding, and heavy lifting is desirable.
Prior maintenance person experience including assembly or general repairs is advantageous.
Skills in electrical or plumbing work can be beneficial but are not mandatory.
Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely is essential.
