s an award-winning company that specializes in historical architectural woodwork. Our projects include both the private and commercial sectors of the market. We provide conservation, restoration and custom replication services for National Historic sites, as well as properties designated under the Ontario Heritage Act. Our team is led by European apprentice trained craftsmen. We are dedicated to preserving our built heritage. Our integrated team takes great pride in achieving excellence in all that we do. We have earned a national reputation for having in-depth experience in the historic architectural woodwork field, quality of workmanship and the ability to deliver on projects of significance; we are prequalified at all levels of government for historic building conservation, and restoration services and for the supply of historic replica doors, windows and woodwork.

Heritage Mill's

fully equipped custom joinery shop is set just below the escarpment in Dundas, Ontario. We manufacture custom wood doors, windows and historical architectural woodwork required for our projects as well as to fill supply only orders. We provide an innovative and collaborative team environment, high-quality equipment, organized workflows and input from our craftsmen ensure delivery on our commitment to the quality of our services and products.

Job Summary



The position includes; architectural woodwork manufacture and restoration

Architectural Woodwork and Joinery

Traditional Wood Window and Door Manufacture

Production of solid wood custom trim, casings and millwork, curved woodwork and complex joinery

40-44 hours per week

Overtime available but not mandatory

Work is year round

Rate of pay is based on skill, commitment, and ability

Responsibilities and Duties



Traditional wood door, wood window and architectural millwork manufacture

Working with our skilled carpenters and joiners in the workshop and on construction sites

Historic Building Restoration

Architectural Woodwork

Operating woodwork machinery (not CNC)

Refinishing windows and doors and woodwork

Preparation of new woodwork - sanding wood, painting

Qualifications and Skills



Woodworking - solid wood, traditional mortise and tenon joinery

Our work is all solid wood construction, we do not use CNC machines

The ability to multitask, learn new skills and to work consistently as part of a team
