Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and woodworking, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach to construction and restoration projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in various tasks including cabinet installation, flooring installation, and masonry work. The Joiner will work collaboratively with other tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of projects on time and within specifications.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project specifications. Perform cabinet installation, ensuring precise measurements and alignment. Execute concrete forming for various structures as required. Engage in restoration projects, bringing existing structures back to their original condition or improving them. Conduct flooring installation and tile laying with attention to detail for a polished finish. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Assist in masonry work, including bricklaying and rebar installation as needed. Participate in construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects. Provide maintenance person services as required, addressing minor plumbing or electrical issues when necessary. Collaborate with team members on construction estimating to ensure project feasibility.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or related fields. Familiarity with CNC machinery is a plus. Strong skills in heavy lifting and physical endurance for demanding tasks. Experience with roofing, siding, caulking, assembly, and general construction practices. A solid understanding of construction safety protocols and best practices.
