Ideal candidate will have experience with drywall/ mudding/ taping, painting, carpentry, flooring and/or interior demolition

Duties/ Responsibilities:

- Observe and comply with all health and safety regulations, following safe work practices and procedures at all times.
- Assist in various tasks, including demolition, drywall/ mudding/ taping, flooring installation, and finish carpentry (baseboards, casing, cabinet/ countertop installation, etc.)
- Clean up of debris and set up of site protection - Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects. - Demonstrate self motivation, attention to detail and take pride in all tasks.

Experience/ Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter (minimum 2 years experience).

- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools and carpentry equipment (bonus if you have your own tools).

- Knowledge of demo, carpentry techniques and best practices.

- Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.

- Strong attention to detail and precision.

- Class 5 Drivers License.

- IICRC certifications in water & fire/smoke mitigation (preferred but not mandatory).

- MUST be able to pass random drug/ alcohol testing.

- No criminal record.

Salary:

Full Time (40 hours per week) Vacation paid out on every cheque Starting at $25.00- $35.00 per hour (based on experience) Paid every 2 weeks via auto deposit Work with a close-knit team of professionals who love what they do and enjoy working together.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday/ 7am- 3:30 pm
Some evenings/ weekends required on occasion
Some nighttime work required on occasion

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
