Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, skilled Carpenter/Handyman to support our home building operations. This position involves a wide range of carpentry and general construction tasks, including framing work, small alterations, service requests, and project support. The ideal candidate is versatile, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform residential carpentry tasks, including framing basements, back framing, and general interior/exterior alterations Interpret and work from construction plans, drawings, and specifications Complete service and warranty-related repairs as needed Install or adjust doors, trim, hardware, cabinetry, and other finish components Assist with structural or layout modifications during construction Conduct minor general repairs as required to support building operations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Communicate effectively with site supervisors, homeowners, and team members Ensure work is completed to company quality standards and timelines
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Maintenance Person or in a similar maintenance role preferred. Skilled in multiple trades such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting. Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and implement effective solutions. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities effectively. Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks as required. Pay: $17.20-$32.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
