Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings, ensuring structural integrity, and working closely with other trades to deliver high-quality projects. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to bring architectural plans to life. A strong understanding of blueprint reading, carpentry, and concrete forming is essential for success in this role.

Duties

Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately frame structures. Construct wall frames, floors, roofs, and other structural components using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed. Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks in collaboration with concrete specialists. Install siding and other exterior building materials according to specifications. Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting and positioning large materials or structural elements. Conduct welding and woodworking tasks to ensure precise assembly of framing components. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes. Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing existing framing structures. Maintain a clean work environment and organize tools and materials efficiently.

Experience

Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or framing is required. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and concrete forming techniques is highly desirable. Experience operating power tools, heavy equipment, and welding equipment is preferred. Knowledge of siding installation, concrete finishing, and restoration work is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on job sites. Prior experience working with hand tools, woodworking, and construction safety protocols is essential.
