Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building structures and be proficient in various framing techniques. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on-site.

Duties

Construct and install wooden frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. Perform heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials as required for framing tasks. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete framing projects. Engage in concrete forming as necessary for structural support. Operate heavy equipment safely on job sites when required. Collaborate with carpenters and other trades to ensure project timelines are met. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics. Experience with drywall installation and siding applications is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday. Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus. Familiarity with concrete forming processes is advantageous. Strong skills in operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Previous experience in carpentry or related fields is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.45-$30.65 per hour
