Overview

We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. This role involves working with various materials and tools to create structures that meet design specifications. The Framer will be responsible for ensuring that all framing work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to accurately frame structures. Construct walls, floors, and roofs using wood or metal framing materials. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete framing tasks. Perform concrete forming and finishing as required for foundation work. Execute restoration projects, including siding installation and repairs. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. Conduct heavy lifting as necessary for transporting materials and assembling structures. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, including woodworking and framing methods. Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and heavy equipment operation is preferred. Familiarity with welding processes is a plus. Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
