We are seeking an experienced Carpenter Supervisor to lead our construction team with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong supervisory skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role requires proficiency in various construction management software and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. As a Carpenter Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of carpenters and other construction personnel on-site.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project tracking and documentation.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
Manage project budgets, including estimating costs and controlling expenses to ensure financial efficiency.
Conduct regular inspections of work performed to maintain high-quality standards.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.
Train and mentor junior carpenters in best practices for construction techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Carpenter Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and tools.
Excellent skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, construction estimating, budgeting, and quality control practices.
Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment.
Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members efficiently.
