As a Carpenter, you'll play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality interior renovation projects for commercial and retail clients. Working in occupied and operational environments, you'll complete a variety of carpentry and finishing tasks with precision, professionalism, and attention to detail.


You'll work closely with the Foreman and Site Superintendent to complete framing, installation, and finishing work while maintaining strict safety, cleanliness, and quality standards. Because many projects take place in live retail or office spaces, you'll take pride in minimizing disruption to business operations and representing the company with professionalism on every site.


Projects range from small-scale refreshes to multi-million-dollar renovations, giving you the opportunity to showcase your versatility and craftsmanship. Day and night shift work is available, with night shift premiums included.

What You'll Do



Perform skilled carpentry work including construction, installation, repair, and finishing of structures and components. Prepare site and building layouts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. Construct and install framing, foundations, and concrete structures. Complete interior and exterior finishes to a high standard of quality and appearance. Assemble, erect, install, and dismantle structural and temporary elements such as forms, scaffolding, ramps, shoring, and barricades. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site - a critical requirement when working in occupied or operational spaces. Load, unload, and move materials safely to designated work areas. Assist Foremen, Superintendents, and other trades as required to support efficient project progress. Perform site preparation tasks such as trenching, backfilling, compacting, and leveling according to specifications. Remove debris and maintain tidy work areas using hand and power tools. Adapt to changing project priorities and schedules, maintaining professionalism in customer-facing environments. Follow all company and site-specific safety protocols at all times.

What You Bring



Minimum of 5 years experience as a Carpenter in Commercial Construction, experience in Tenant Improvements and Operational Renovations, Journeyperson Certificate is considered an asset Own transportation, able to get to and from site Ability to multi task with strong attention to detail Productive in a team environment Understands and adheres to all safety policies and procedures Able to stand and walk for long periods of time, push/pull, bend and crouch frequently and work in adverse weather conditions

Working Conditions




Arm and finger dexterity required to operate various types of equipment and tools

Must be able and willing to lift and carry up to 44 pounds and able to complete lifting, pulling and managing heavy equipment and objects

Must be able to travel locally

Working in and around traffic and pedestrians

Noisy, Dusty, Muddy worksites
