Our carpentry division handles forming, framing, and finishing in-house, giving our crew the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from foundations to final trims.

About the Role



We're looking for a skilled

Carpenter

with hands-on experience in at least one area of carpentry: forming, framing, or finishing. If you've worked in more than one, that's a strong plus and will reflect in your wage and responsibilities. The more you know, the more it will reflect on your wage. We are committed to your learning and growth and advancing your position.

You should already be confident using all basic tools, able to read a tape, make clean cuts, and understand standard layouts. If we tell you to build a wall, you'll ask "where and when?", not "what tool do I use and what's a stud?"

Responsibilities



Perform carpentry work in forming, framing, and/or finishing (depending on experience) Read and interpret plans, layouts, and site instructions Safely operate power tools and hand tools Work efficiently with a small crew or independently Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Take direction and follow through on assigned tasks

Qualifications



Minimum 2 years of experience in any area of carpentry (new construction or renovations) Experience in more than one area (forming, framing, finishing) is a strong asset Valid driver's license is an asset but not required Having a level certification/working towards your Red Seal is a plus Ability to speak more than one language (English, Punjabi, Spanish) is an asset Reliable transportation to site or our designated morning meeting spot (we often carpool together from White Rock to wherever our site is) Basic understanding of construction sequences and layouts Ability to lift and carry materials safely

What We Offer



Starting wage:

$24/hr+

, depending on experience. Apprentices are welcome to apply. Your wage will reflect your experience, versatility, and the range of carpentry skills you bring to the team. Regular performance reviews and wage growth with time and responsibilities Consistent, year-round work Opportunity to learn, advance, and work alongside experienced builders. We build and deliver entire projects from luxury custom homes to multi unit residential. If this is an area you'd like to learn more about and be more involved in, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn and take on responsibility.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $23.50-$33.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
