Looking for people with experience in new home construction framing and forming.
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team, responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and tools, with the ability to read blueprints and execute projects with precision. This role requires a commitment to quality craftsmanship and safety standards. Must be able to work on their own and or supervise one apprentice.
Responsibilities
Build, restore, and repair structures such as walls, roofs, and cabinets using various materials.
Install drywall, siding, and other fixtures as per project specifications.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
Perform heavy lifting as necessary to transport materials and equipment on job sites.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
Experience
Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role is preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry work.
Familiarity with drywall installation, roofing techniques, cabinet installation, and siding application.
Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
